John Wootton

            A graduate of Evangel University in Springfield, Missouri, John Wootton is an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God.  He has served since 2008 as an executive officer of the Ohio district in the position of district superintendent, and previously as district secretary.  For eight years, John served as the district HonorBound men’s ministries director, as well as the assistant to District Superintendent Robert Crabtree.  Before working at the district, John was a minister on staff at two Ohio churches (Trinity Assembly of God in Columbus and Bethel Temple Assembly of God in Parma).  John and his wife, Brigette, worship at Epic Church Assembly of God in Columbus, a church plant launched by the Woottons and a team of district leaders in 2009.  Brigette is the Food Services Director of Heartland Conference Retreat Center in Marengo, Ohio.  They reside in New Albany with their four children, Tyler (18), Clayton (15), Abigail (13), and Olivia (9).


Clyde Miller

 

Clyde Miller began preaching at the tender age of 12 at children's rallies in the section of Oklahoma where he grew up.  Licensed at age 16, he attended and graduated from Central Bible College in Springfield, MO.  He is married to Anita and they have 3 children.  He and Anita moved to Cincinnati in 1962, where he served for four years as assistant pastor at First Christian Assembly of God.  After a 3 year pastorate back in their native state of Oklahoma, the Millers were asked to return to First Christian Assembly, this time as senior pastors, where they ministered for 32 years.  Anita organized and taught classes for young married people during the years.  Clyde resigned the senior pastorate in 2000 and has since served the church as pastor emeritus.  Clyde has enjoyed his 35 years on the presbytery board and the 10 years he has served as assistant district superintendent.  He enjoys traveling across the district and truly loves playing a round of golf whenever he can.


 

Jim Palmer

 

Jim and Renee have lived in Columbus since 1984 and have three sons.  Nathan and Justin attend The Ohio State University and Christian is a student at Worthington Kilbourne High School.  Jim and Renee are passionate about partnerships for world evangelization, connecting relationally with pre-believers and coaching Christians to maturity.  In 1990, Jim and Renee founded Capital City Church in northwest Columbus.  Its signature expressions are student, small group, and missions ministries.  Previously, Jim served as District Youth Director and youth pastor at Parma Bethel Temple Assembly of God.  Jim was raised in a pastor’s home and lived in Pennsylvania and Ohio.  He earned degrees at Central Bible College and Ashland Theological Seminary.  Renee came to Christ at age 13 and was nurtured spiritually at Parma Bethel Temple AG.

 

BRENT PAGE

 

Brent Page has served as the Men's Ministry director since December of 2008. He was licensed with the Assemblies of God in 1985, while attending Jimmy Swaggart Bible College. While there, he and his wife Lisa, along with several other students, pioneered Clinton Assembly of God and Kentwood Assembly of God in Louisiana. They moved to Franklin, North Carolina in 1986 where he pastored a church for almost 17 years. He was ordained in 1989 with the North Carolina District Council of the Assemblies of God. They moved to Ashland, Ohio in March of 2002, where they pastor New Life Community Church. He and Lisa have been married 25 years. They have four children: Brooks (21), who is married to Katelyn and on staff at Velocity Assembly of God, Taylor (20) at Evangel University, Lindsay (19) at Zion Bible College, and Garrett (18) a senior at Ashland High School.


 

Lisa Page

 

Credentialed with the Assemblies of God, Lisa Page has a heart to reach all the Wonderful Ohio Women ~ W.O.W.!!!~ with the life-saving message of Jesus Christ, who meets us at our every need.  One of Lisa’s life goals is to share with women that they each have a God-given potential and that God has created each of us to live in freedom and victory! Lisa has served as the Ohio Women’s Director since December 2008.  After ministering at a church in North Carolina at one church for almost 17 years, Brent and Lisa, and her husband, Brent, moved to Ashland, Ohio. Brent serves as the Lead Pastor of New Life Community Church, in Ashland, Ohio and Lisa serves full-time as the Youth Pastor.  Brent also serves as the Ohio Men’s Ministry Director. Brent and Lisa recently celebrated 25 years of marriage and have four children: Brooks (21), who is the Worship Pastor at Velocity Assembly of God in Mansfield, Ohio, and is married to Katelyn, Taylor (20), is in his junior year at Evangel University in Springfield, MO., Lindsay (19), is in her sophomore year at Zion Bible College, in Haverhill, MA., and Garrett (18), is a senior at Ashland High School, and is very active in football and the CRUX youth group.   

 

Eric Schroeter

 

Eric and his wife, Kathleen, were church planters in Mount Gilead, Ohio, for nine years before transitioning to the district office in October of 2006.  He has served at the Ohio District Council in several capacities before assuming his current role as the director of the Ohio Church Multiplication Network in January of 2009.  For almost five years Eric has worked with those starting new churches and he has a passion to help facilitate and support a statewide network of churches and leaders committed to planting new churches and sites.  He and his family also serve on the staff of a new church plant in Columbus to remain connected to “front-line” multiplication efforts.  Eric and Kathleen have five children Ericsson, Konrad, Landon, Isabela, and Sofia.  He enjoys spending time with his family and skiing.


 

Harry Hunt

 

Harry has been involved in the Royal Ranger ministry for 37 years.  He began as a leader in 1975 with appointments to Northwest Sectional Staff in 1980 and then the Ohio District Staff in 1984.  Harry was appointed to serve as the Ohio Royal Ranger District Commander by former district superintendent, Robert Crabtree in 1988.  He has been a member of the National Royal Rangers Council since 1984, where he has served in various elected offices.  He currently serves as the President of the national council and is a member of the Executive Committee.  Harry and his wife, Dawna, travel to various districts speaking at leadership seminars, district and regional events, and serving on various national training camps in the states and overseas.  As well as serving in the Royal Rangers ministry, Harry became the Lead Pastor of Erie Shores Assembly of God in Port Clinton in 2003.  Harry and Dawna have 3 children all of who are active in the church, Aaron (30), who is married to Michelle, Thomas (27), and Brittany (22).  They also have 3 grandchildren, Courtney (8), Zachery (6), and Melanie (4).



Mandy Groot


Mandy Groot currently serves as the Ohio Girls Ministries Network Director.  She has been involved in several church ministries.  For over fifteen years, Mandy has led in the areas of youth, Girls Ministries and church administration.  She and her husband Tom have been married for thirteen years and have two sons, Micah and Levi.
  

 

JOHN MUSGRAVE

 

John Musgrave has been serving the Ohio District Council (now Ohio Ministry Network) of the Assemblies of God as the Director of Church Development since 2006.  John graduated from Southeastern University with a Bachelors degree in Pastoral Studies.  He began full time ministry as a youth pastor for 3 ½ years, then served as a senior pastor for 25 years.  He was presbyter of the Youngstown Warren Section for 14 years.  A native of Ohio, John Musgrave has a heart and vision for our churches and pastors.  It is his privilege to work with and encourage District Affiliated churches and pastors, and assist churches in pastoral transition.  John and his wife, Barb, have two children, David and Danielle.  In addition to spending time with his family, he enjoys golfing and reading.


 

BECKY GARRETT

 

In January 2003, Becky Garrett came to the Ohio District Council (now Ohio Ministry Network) as the new Christian Education director.  Prior to coming, she served for 8 years as Children’s pastor and Christian Education director at First Assembly of God, Bellefontaine, Ohio.  A graduate from Central Bible College, she earned a B.A. in Administration of Christian Education and Bible.  Upon graduation, she served on staff at Teen Challenge of the Ozarks as live-in staff and the education supervisor.  After coming to the District Office, Becky met and married the love of her life, Mike Garrett. Mike is a great support to her ministry and shares her love and passion for seeing people transformed by the power of Jesus Christ.  Becky has been a part of the Assemblies of God all her life and accepted Christ into her heart at a very young age.  Filled with the Holy Spirit at a youth camp, God confirmed His call on her life to full-time ministry.  She believes deeply in discipleship, and has a genuine love for children and a desire to see them active in their relationship with the Lord. 


 

Sue Nigh

 

Sue Nigh was appointed Executive Director of Heartland Conference Retreat Center in September 2007 after joining the Heartland team in February 2006.  Owned and operated by the Ohio District Council of the Assemblies of God, Heartland provides special event, retreat and summer camp opportunities for the Ohio District and other Christian groups and organizations.  In addition, Heartland offers Outdoor Environmental Education and day and overnight opportunities to public and private schools and other organizations.  Before joining the Heartland team, Sue served as Director of Marketing at United Church Directories for 17 years.  She also served as Director of Sales and Marketing, and then President, of an information technology services company in Columbus, Ohio for 5 years before serving as Operations and Marketing Director of the YMCA of Mount Vernon, Ohio for 4 years.  Sue has 11 years of experience in Christian camping, and in the local church served as youth leader and young adult Sunday school teacher for ten years.  She and her husband, Randy, have been married for 36 years.  They have a son, daughter and six grandchildren.   Randy and Sue are both passionate about Heartland’s mission to “provide a place for people of all ages to learn, grow and experience the love and presence of God” and enjoy their many opportunities to love and serve God and His people at Heartland.
