An Important Message from Pastor Wootton

Dear Pastor and Members of Church Board/Advisory Team:

It seems like each week brings another disconcerting headline about the housing market, gas prices, and the slumping economy.  As church leaders, I know you feel the burden of ministering to the real hurts of unemployed and financially-struggling individuals in your congregation and your community.

God’s Word, as always, has insightful and powerful keys to making it through difficult times.  That’s why I’m writing today to encourage you as you embrace the meaningful opportunities that exist for a church during challenging economic seasons.  As usual, the politicians and interest groups may have their own proposals, but I am convinced we already have the tools to “grow Ohio’s economy,” and it doesn’t start with a new casino, it doesn’t start with a government program … financial freedom starts with the Church!
